Alright, go make those blender wheat pancakes for breakfast so that you can feel a little less guilty about eating these for dinner. So what if I have a weakness for all things deep fried? (Rumor has it that you can get deep fried snickers bars at the Iowa State Fair. My mouth is salivating and my arteries are clogging just thinking about it). Even if you have to go run 5 miles after you eat this, it is so worth it (hey, I never guaranteed that all my recipes would be healthy, but I did guarantee that they would be good). Thanks Cammi for sharing, this has become a family favorite!
Large flour tortillas (about 8-10)
3 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
19 oz. can Las Palmas green enchilada sauce
1 can cream of chicken soup
Cream cheese
Shredded cheddar cheese
oil for frying
lettuce, sour cream and salsa to garnish

Mix enchilada sauce with soup. Set aside half of the mixture. With the other half, stir in the chicken and set it aside. Spread cream cheese in the center 1/3 of each tortilla and top with chicken mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese, then wrap like a burrito. Fry each side lightly in hot oil (using tongs to hold together). Place in a baking dish and drizzle on remaining sauce (don't completely cover, you want them to stay crispy and not soggy) and sprinkle with cheese. Cook uncovered at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
Yes indeed, you can get deep fried snickers at the Iowa state fair. I'll admit I was skeptical but they were oh, so delish and worth every single one of the 5 million calories..atleast once a year anyway.
